I remember sitting over a bottle of Gallo with a friend in Antigua and discussing our futures. Clearly, we felt that to take no responsibility, to just the let the future happen, would be a grave mistake. We needed a plan, chock full of slick maneuvering and cunning strategery. After some insightful discussion and heated debate, we decide that, to ensure a happy future, we should skip dinner and use the rest of our meager stash of quetzales to buy as many jumbo bottles of Gallo as possible before happy hour ended. And so we did, and lived happily ever after.
