Granada, on the shores of Lake Nicaragua, is a charming colonial town despite its lack of a decent McDonalds. Here are a few shots of the lake side and of the town from an old spanish fort tower. On the surface, Granada appears to be a gentle and friendly place, but there is an undercurrent of violence imposed by evil and agitated animals including a large badger rat creature that bit me twice simply because I wanted to cuddle for a picture (not pictured) and an angry hell hound that attacked my friend Tabitha, who was luckily muzzled (the dog I mean) (pictured below).
